The design you have is very tranquil and pleasing to the eye.
TFS - popped over from Down To Earth.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11639277171611783456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777045501388164999.post-40945335994106324402011-08-25T15:31:47.818-07:002011-08-25T15:31:47.818-07:00What a lovely and generous gift from your friend. ...What a lovely and generous gift from your friend. I have found sometimes it is much easier to give away something you love (but don't use much) to someone you know personally rather than say a thrift/op shop. It sounds like a perfect arrangement. You get lovely dishes, she finds her lovely dishes a new home with someone who will truly appreciate them.

Oh, and I got a real kick out of your profile description as a "25 year old wannabe Amish." I suppose that could describe me as well, though I am 27. I strongly admire Amish, Brethren, and Hutterite culture. I wish I'd been born there. But, it is so enjoyable to adopt even some of the simple life.

Popping by from Down to Earth.BLD in MThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08497511995276601468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777045501388164999.post-40611280228504983462011-08-25T14:06:24.003-07:002011-08-25T14:06:24.003-07:00What a lovely gift, and so beautiful, too! Did us well for a few years and as the family grew the dishes went away as we had more kids then the dishes. Now with the family downsizing we use them a lot more. Funny how that works out!simplicityinthemakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14492407981286638459noreply@blogger.com
